The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad witnessed the defense of a doctoral dissertation titled “The Effect of Fair Inquiry Strategy on Inclusive Thinking and Performance of Serving and Receiving Skills in Volleyball for Female Students.” The dissertation was presented by student (Hind Obaid Abdul Salam) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Huda Abdul Samia, a professor in the Department of Theoretical Sciences.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to construct an inclusive thinking scale in volleyball for third-year female students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Diyala. It involved preparing educational units for the serving and receiving skills according to the fair inquiry strategy in inclusive thinking, and understand the impact of the fair inquiry strategy in developing inclusive thinking and learning the skills of serving and receiving in volleyball for the female students.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The student concluded that the inclusive thinking scale in volleyball is suitable for third-year female students at the College of Basic Education, to measure what it was prepared for in terms of types of thinking, as it meets the acceptance conditions of pen-and-paper measurement tools. It is worth noting that the application of the fair inquiry strategy in practical lessons helped improve the performance of serving and receiving skills among female students who learn without it.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The researcher recommended the need to generalize the study’s findings in teaching to enhance the learning of skill performance in serving and receiving in volleyball among the sample of students. It was also recommended to focus on developing the abilities of volleyball instructors in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Basic Education and improving their knowledge of the fair inquiry strategy for its application in practical lessons, according to its stages and components, and effectively utilizing it in these lessons.<\/span><\/h4>\n

After the student’s dissertation was discussed, the committee recommended granting her a Ph.D. degree in Physical Education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
