\u00a0<\/strong>A lecturer in the theoretical sciences branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Lect. Dr. Nibal Karim Abdullah, held a workshop entitled (Scouting activity in developing the spirit of cooperation and creativity) for members of the Student Activities Division, the Continuing Education Unit, first-stage students, and the Ranger guides of the College of Arts \/ University of Baghdad. .<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dr. Nibal explained the difference between the concept of activity and scouting, as the former is a means of developing the inclinations of young people and revealing their talents through what they learn through their teams, and the impact of this is transferred to their lives in the future through their participation in planning until it makes them able to form their personalities, while the word scouting is a derivative. From the verb scout, what is meant is tracking the trail and being guided by natural phenomena, which is one of the scouting arts.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She also explained the most important goals of scouting activity, which are loyalty to the group and society, a sense of responsibility, the tendency to cooperate and help, encouraging students to research and discover, respecting manual work, instilling the spirit of volunteer work in the students\u2019 hearts, and helping students how to benefit from environmental waste.<\/span><\/h4>\n

At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Ali Abdel Amir, awarded a letter of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nibal Karim in appreciation of her efforts and effective contribution in clarifying the concepts of scouting, roving, camps, contracts, flag raising ceremonies, and others, wishing her success and progress in her work in service of the educational process in Iraq.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This workshop achieves the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education, and the seventeenth goal: establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n
