The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hasib, and the Head of the Team Games Branch, Prof. Nihad Muhammad Alwan, participated in the Arab Universities Association Conference, hosted by the University of Baghdad, to assume the presidency of the session. It is currently in its fifty-sixth edition, which coincides with the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the Union, in the presence of ambassadors of Arab countries, representatives of Arab ministers of higher education, university presidents, and a number of Arab and foreign academic elites.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ansaf, stated that the mother university began the first steps to integrate with the Association of Arab Universities project by launching the (Study in Iraq) project, which aims to attract a number of Arab students, in addition to completing a number of scientific and academic research in cooperation with Arab universities and publishing. In joint scientific journals.<\/span><\/h4>\n

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Professor Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, praised the great efforts made by Iraq to hold the Arab Universities Conference, noting that this version of the conference was presented in a manner consistent with the historical and cultural role of the capital, Baghdad, stressing the launch of a package of joint projects between the universities. The Iraqi and Arab countries aim to develop the infrastructure for Arab education and work together to overcome future education challenges.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This participation achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education, and the seventeenth goal: establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n
