Asst. Lect. Safia Ihsan, a lecturer in the Individual Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, gave a scientific lecture for undergraduate students entitled (Muscular Separation).<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ms. Safiya explained how the problem of muscle separation has become exacerbated because it is a phenomenon that has become widespread recently and most men and women suffer from it to a greater extent due to the lack of knowledge of its causes and methods of proper treatment and prevention.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Its forms were divided into partial or complete muscle separation of the rectus abdominis muscles, which consist of six parts that meet at the midline of the stomach and form two parallel sections of longitudinal muscles that extend from the chest to the pelvis and meet in the middle of the abdomen and are transverse, recalling the types of cases that include muscle separation due to pregnancy. Separation occurs due to the accumulation of fat around the lower abdomen, and separation occurs directly under the chest area.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She confirmed that among its most important symptoms are difficulty performing usual activities, general weakness in the abdominal muscles, difficulty carrying and lifting objects, feeling lower back pain, problems with the general appearance of the body such as stooping, and constipation.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The lecture concluded with a set of ways to prevent separation, which are strengthening the abdominal muscles, avoiding lifting heavy loads, avoiding constipation, especially for pregnant women, and also avoiding coughing for pregnant women.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This lecture is one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
