The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, chaired membership in a discussion of the master\u2019s thesis entitled (The Effect of Cognitive Speed Exercises on Developing Some Special Abilities and Performing Motor sequence Using Epee for Women) by the researcher (Ghosun Khalaf Aziz) and under the supervision of Asst.prof. Dr. Ishraq Ghaleb Odeh and Dr. Bashar Ghaleb Shihab from the University of Diyala, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nour Hatem Reda are members.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to identify some of the special abilities and motor sentences of women using the fencing sword, prepare cognitive speed exercises for women, and find out the effect of cognitive speed exercises on some of the special abilities and motor sequence of the players of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences girls\u2019 team for the sports season (2023\/2024) which number is (12).<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study concluded that using cognitive speed exercises positively affected the development of some abilities specific to fencing in the pre-and post-tests. Its impact favored the post-test with the following tests (kinetic speed of the armed arm, agility, moving accuracy of the stab, moving balance, coordination ability, and cognitive ability of the leg, and the armed arm). As well as its positive effect on developing some movement sentences in the pre-and post-tests, and for the benefit of the post-test, the selected movement sentences, including moving forward with a step and performing a numerical attack from the stabbing movement.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The researcher also came up with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of using cognitive speed exercises and giving them a role and place in the training units for fencing because of their positive role in developing special abilities for fencing, and diversifying the use of training methods and techniques to serve the type of physical, motor, and skill capabilities of the sports activity practiced. Because of its major role in developing these abilities, there is a need to use cognitive speed training and link it to offensive or defensive skills in fencing for both genders and different age groups.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This event is consistent with the fourth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which aims for quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
