A doctoral thesis entitled (The impact of the KUD strategy according to the competitive style on the level of learning enjoyment and some basic basketball skills for students) by the researcher (Zahraa Khaled Abdel Wahed) was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Lamia Hassan Muhammad from the University of Basra as a chairman, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Abdul Hussein as supervisor, and Prof Dr. Liqa\u2019a Abdullah Ali, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sahar Hurr Majeed, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysaa Nadeem Ahmed and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nadeema Badr Mohammed as members.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to prepare a measure of learning enjoyment for first-stage students in the College of Physical Education – the Universities of Basra and Maysan, prepare educational units for the KUD strategy in the competitive style for first-stage students, identify the impact of the KUD strategy in achieving the level of learning enjoyment and some basic basketball skills to the research sample mentioned above.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study concluded that the use of educational units of the KUD strategy in a competitive manner had achieved a noticeable improvement in the level of learning enjoyment, in addition to its positive impact on fundamental basketball skills, in addition to the emergence of significant differences in the tests of the pre-and post-study variables for the control and experimental groups, once in favor of the post-tests and once in favor of the experimental group.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The researcher recommended the necessity of adopting the competitive method (KUD) strategy in teaching students basic and complex basketball skills, emphasizing the necessity of using the competitive method within teaching methods in colleges of physical education, holding workshops and seminars for male and female physical education teachers to apply modern strategies in teaching such as the (KUD) strategy and how to employ it in teaching different sports.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This discussion achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
