A master’s thesis entitled (The Effect of Special Exercises with the Laser Device on Some Biomechanical Variables of the Rotation Phase and the Completion of 100 m Freestyle Swimming for Youth aged 16-18 years) was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, by the researcher (Sima\u2019a Zaher Yahya).<\/span><\/h4>\n

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Widad Kazim Majeed from the University of Baghdad as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazim Abdul Redha as Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Suha Ali Hussein as a member, and Prof. Dr. Nazim Jabbar Jalal as a member.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to identify the values \u200b\u200bof some biomechanical variables in the rotation phase of 100 m. freestyle swimming, using a proposed laser device for this phase to complete 100 m. freestyle swimming, and using special exercises with a laser device on some biomechanical variables of the rotation phase.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The researcher concluded that increasing the value of the variables (push force, push time, push, knee angle, direction angle, distance flow, flow speed) as a result of training using a laser device for the rotation phase in the training units in the main experiment procedures, as the researcher recommended increasing the focus on the rotation phase in swimming during training, and including it in the training units due to its effective role in improving the level of achievement and emphasizing increasing the culture and awareness of swimmers by explaining the importance of biomechanical variables in a simplified manner, and the necessity of conducting similar studies on other types of swimming (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke), and emphasizing conducting similar studies on other freestyle swimming competitions (200, 400 m).<\/span><\/h4>\n

This study achieves one of the goals of sustainable development, represented by the fourth goal of quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
