A discussion of the master’s thesis entitled (Construction and Standardisation of Some Tests for Mental and Physical Abilities and Their Relationship to the Most Important Offensive Skills for Advanced Players in the Paralympic \u00c9p\u00e9\u00e9) was held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, by the researcher (Anwar Majid Joda).<\/span><\/h4>\n

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr Mustafa Hassan Abdul Karim from Al-Mustansiriya University as Chairman, Assist. Prof. Dr Nour Hatem Reda as Supervisor, Assist. Prof. Dr Zainab Qahtan Abdul Mohsen as a member, and Assistant Professor Dr Nazik Sobhi Matar as a member.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to identify the most important mental and physical abilities of Paralympic fencing fencers, construct and standardise special tests for some of their psychological and physical skills, identify the numerical values \u200b\u200bof the tests for evaluating the performance of offensive skills for that category, and identify the relationship between each of the mental and physical abilities and assess their performance.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study concluded that the construction of each of the tests of mental attention concentration ability, mental memory ability, and the motor speed ability of the armed physical arm and the endurance ability of the armed physical arm are appropriate to measure what they were designed for advanced disabled fencers in the sport of Paralympic fencing. The mental attention concentration ability, mental memory ability, motor speed ability of the armed physical arm, and the endurance ability of the armed physical arm are related to evaluating the performance of offensive skills with high positive direct relationships among advanced disabled fencers. The study also recommended the necessity of adopting applications of mental and physical ability tests to measure advanced disabled fencers in Paralympic fencing and evaluating their level in each of them standardly, and taking into account the characteristics of the category of advanced disabled fencers in Paralympic fencing (A and (B)) when designing tests for them, and giving importance to modern tests when training and following up on the level of disabled fencers because of their role in revealing what is related to providing offensive skills in this sport.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This study achieves one of the goals of sustainable development, represented by the fourth goal of quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
