The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and the supervision of its official Asst. Lect. Safiya Ihsan Kamel held a workshop entitled (Entrepreneurial Business and Knowledge Gardens) as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The Entrepreneurship Official in the college, Ms. Riyam Abdul Karim Abdul, presented it.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Ms. Riyam explained the concept of entrepreneurship, which is the ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them innovatively to create new businesses and projects. Its entrepreneurs are distinguished by creativity, a desire to take risks, and the ability to transform ideas into a tangible reality.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She added that its most prominent components are creativity, innovation, calculated risk, and sustainability. At the same time, she mentioned its importance in enhancing economic growth, creating job opportunities, promoting innovation, and solving societal problems.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She classified its skills into critical and creative thinking, time and resource management, leadership skills, effective communication, flexibility, and adaptation.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She also explained the concept of knowledge gardens as physical or virtual spaces designed to enhance creativity, cognitive interaction and innovation. They aim to create a rich educational environment that stimulates cooperation between individuals and institutions to innovate new solutions to problems or develop innovative ideas consisting of dedicated educational spaces, an innovative community, technical resources and support for entrepreneurs. Among their strategies for activating the relationship between entrepreneurship and gardens are developing infrastructure, incubator and acceleration programs, strategic partnerships, financing and incentives.<\/span><\/h4>\n
