Students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls, University of Baghdad, participated in a cultural review of a civilized legacy titled (The Queens of the Rafidain Valley), within the activities of the tenth international scientific conference for Arab women’s sport between reality and ambition, which Al-Mustaqbal University held, the students were trained by the teacher in Team Games Branch Prof. Dr. Luma Samir Hammoudi.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The show embodied a review of the kingdoms of Babylonian, Sumerian, and Assyrian civilizations in costumes that mimicked the clothes of the queens of that era. The show aimed to revive the art of our ancient heritage and the role of women in those civilizations.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The show embodied Queen Shubad, the icon of Sumerian elegance whose grave was found in Ur with luxurious jewelry; Queen Kobaba, the magistrate of Kish city, who was famous for her clothes and elegant jewelry; Queen Semiramis, known as the symbol of intelligence and political skill; and the queen of the tree of life, the wife of King Sennacherib, who had a prominent political role in the Assyrian era.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This review represents one of the goals of sustainable development, which are represented by the sixteenth and seventeenth goals of peace, justice, strong institutions, and partnerships to achieve goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n
