Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, the college hosted the preparatory meeting for the National Conference titled \u201cSchool Dropout: National Challenges and Future Solutions.\u201d The conference is organized by the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Education, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia\u2019 Al-Sudani and supervised by Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Education Affairs.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The official conference proceedings are scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Al-Mansour Melia Hotel\u2014Qurtuba Hall, Baghdad.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Today\u2019s preparatory meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawra\u2019a Mohammed Al-Mubarraq as Chairperson, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Nashwan Mahmoud Al-Saffar as Rapporteur and Dr. Rawa\u2019a Hamdi Al-Jaf as a Committee Member. The meeting focused on discussing the tasks and preparations of the various committees for the conference. Additionally, the committee announced the selection of 60 research papers aligned with the conference\u2019s nine key themes out of a total of 150 submitted papers from researchers representing both ministries.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This meeting aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by fostering collaboration and addressing critical educational challenges.<\/span><\/h4>\n
