Under the patronage of Prof. Dr Fatima Abd Malih, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences for Girls\/ University of Baghdad, and in collaboration with the Department of Media and Government Communication at the university presidency, the Scientific Affairs Unit organised a workshop titled (Sports Media and Its Role in Society).<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop covered three main topics:<\/span><\/h4>\n

First, the Concept and Types of Sports Media. Presented by Lect. Ibtihal Jasim, Head of the college’s Media Division, led this session, which focused on defining sports media and exploring its various forms.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Second, Formats and Objectives of Sports Media. It was delivered by Asst. Lect. Shahad Haider Aboud from the university\u2019s Media Department, this session discussed different formats and structures used to present media content to the public, as well as the goals and societal importance of sports media.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Third, The Role and Impact of Sports Media on Society. This session, presented by Asst. Lect. Karrar Haider Hatif, from the university presidency, examined the diverse effects of sports media on society.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This workshop supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, Quality Education, and Goal 17, Strengthening Partnerships for the goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n
