As part of efforts to promote sports culture and enhance public health, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, organized (Fitness Day) event in collaboration with the Individual Sports Department. Fitness course instructors supervised the event.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The event featured a series of dynamic performances accompanied by music, including a model aerobics session and a group fitness workout with the participation of all instructors. Various exercises were demonstrated, including Burpees, Static and dynamic squats, Upper and lower planks, Arm strength training with 2 kg dumbbells, Side raises, Fast rope jumping, and Front-moving squats with 3 kg weights.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The event was not limited to performances but also included competitions based on the demonstrated exercises, with three participating groups: faculty members, staff, and students.<\/span><\/h4>\n

At the end of the event, prof. Dr. Mona Al-Badri, the fitness program coordinator, awarded prizes to the winners in recognition of their efforts and active participation.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In her closing remarks, the Dean of the College expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the fitness instructors for organizing this enjoyable and health-promoting event, which beautifully combines sports and art.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This initiative contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3, Good Health and Well-being.<\/span><\/h4>\n
