The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, and supervised by Asst. Lect. Safia Ihsan Kamil organized a specialized workshop titled (Outputs of Physical Education and Labor Market Requirements in Sports Halls). The workshop aimed to enhance the employability of undergraduate students by highlighting the skills and knowledge required in the job market.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop was presented by faculty members from the Team Sports and Individual Sports Departments and consisted of four main topics related to career opportunities in sports halls:<\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. \n

    Lect. Dr. Mais Mahmoud led the first session on \u201cEssential Skills for Physical Education Graduates Working in Sports Halls,\u201d covering practical experience and appropriate training programs to develop qualified personnel.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Lect. Dr. Zuhad Fawzi addressed the second session, focusing on (The Alignment of Academic Curricula with Job Market Requirements and the Role of Sports Halls in Providing Employment Opportunities for Graduates).<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n

    Asst. Lect. Safia Ihsan presented the third topic, discussing (University-Sports Hall Partnerships to Improve Employment Opportunities); she also highlighted the challenges faced by graduates in this field.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \n

    The final session, led by Asst. Lect. Maryam Lwa\u2019a focused on )Proposed Solutions to Bridge the Gap Between Educational Outcomes and Job Market Needs), emphasizing the key job skills required for professionals in the sector.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This workshop aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education). It reflects the college\u2019s commitment to preparing students for the job market and enhancing their career prospects in the sports hall industry.<\/span><\/h4>\n
