For the third consecutive year, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls\u2014University of Baghdad held its annual Ramadan evening under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Ensaf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The event was attended by the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Social Protection Affairs, Sanaa Mohammed Al-Moussawi, MP Madihah Hassan Al-Maksoosi, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the Dean of Samarra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Abbas Abdul, along with a number of academics and prominent figures.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The evening commenced with the playing of the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and a moment of silence to read Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, Gaza, and Lebanon.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Dean of the College then delivered a speech, welcoming the distinguished guests and wishing them blessings during the holy month. She emphasized that the event aimed to celebrate Teacher\u2019s Day, Women\u2019s Day, and Mother\u2019s Day, highlighting the vital role of women in various educational and governmental institutions. She also stressed their excellence in the sports field by producing outstanding graduates who meet labor market needs.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The evening featured a variety of segments, including the performance of Ramadan chants and poetry recitations that honored the status of mothers and sisters and their crucial role in society. Additionally, a theatrical performance showcased the role of the family and school in preparing professionals such as teachers, engineers, lawyers, and doctors.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Another segment highlighted the contributions of Iraqi women throughout history, from the Akkadian, Assyrian, and Babylonian eras to the present day. The program also included acrobatic performances.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Furthermore, University President Dr. Baha inaugurated an exhibition on environmental waste and a handicraft bazaar organized by the (Baghdadia Al-Hawa) team. He also conducted an inspection tour of the graduate studies and discussion halls.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The evening concluded with the university president honoring the young talents\u2019 delegation and praising their outstanding acrobatic performances.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This event contributed to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014peace, justice, and strong institutions\u2014emphasizing the college\u2019s role in promoting social and humanitarian values.<\/span><\/h4>\n
