The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls\/ University of Baghdad held a workshop titled (The Concept and Advantages of E-Learning), presented by Asst. Lect. Liqaa Mohammed Shuwahi, a lecturer in the\u00a0 Theoretical Sciences Department.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop introduced e-learning as an educational approach that relies on digital technology. This includes online learning platforms that offer flexible access to academic content while enabling direct interaction between the learner and the material.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The lecturer highlighted the main advantages of e-learning, such as the ability to learn from any place at any time, its lower cost compared to traditional education, the opportunity for learners to progress at their own pace, and the ease of access to a wide range of educational resources.<\/span><\/h4>\n

She also explained its applications across various fields, including university education, professional training, continuing education, and early childhood and adult education.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop addressed e-learning challenges like low self-motivation and limited social interaction. Proposed solutions included building virtual communities to enhance communication and emphasising the importance of training in self-directed learning skills.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The session concluded with several recommendations, most notably recognising e-learning as a true revolution in education, stressing the importance of lifelong learning for personal and professional development, and encouraging adaptation to the rapid pace of technological change.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop also underscored its alignment with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all.<\/span><\/h4>\n
