The Graduation Research Project Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, and in collaboration with the Department of Theoretical Sciences, organized the 11th Student Scientific Conference.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The conference began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a moment of silence and the reading of Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs of Iraq, Gaza, and Lebanon. The playing of the national anthem followed this. The event also included poetic recitations about graduation and a theatrical performance highlighting the role of women in society\u2014as mothers, teachers, doctors, athletes, and entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Dean of the College delivered a speech, emphasizing that the past four years have been a learning, innovation, knowledge, and value-building journey. She highlighted the importance of academic competition in line with global ranking standards, with a strong focus on the quality of scientific research aimed at serving the community, meeting labor market needs, and advancing sustainable development goals. She noted that graduation is not the end but the beginning of greater responsibility toward society and the nation.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs also gave a speech, congratulating the students on their graduation and stressing the importance of investing the knowledge gained over the past four years in pioneering projects that apply scientific and professional aspects. She wished them success in their professional lives.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Meanwhile, the Head of the Research Project Committee, Dr. Widad Kazem, announced that 53 research projects were presented, covering various fields such as sports, media, adaptive sports, drug prevention, fitness, swimming, basketball, and more. She also explained the adopted evaluation mechanism used to select the best-distinguished research.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The students then moved to their designated discussion rooms, where 11 academic committees were formed, each consisting of a chairperson, two members, a rapporteur, and a session coordinator. Each committee evaluated four to six student projects, during which students presented summaries of their research methodologies, findings, and recommendations.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This conference contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
