In line with the conclusion of the current academic year, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naeema Zaidan, held an extended meeting with the college\u2019s academic staff to discuss the educational and strategic plans for the upcoming academic year.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Dean underscored the importance of preparing comprehensive course descriptions for the next academic year in alignment with institutional and programmatic accreditation standards, both nationally and internationally. She introduced an external examiner system for undergraduate courses to ensure quality and comparability with peer institutions at the regional and global levels. Additionally, she emphasized the need to develop a detailed and accurate examination schedule for practical courses at the end of the semester and the academic year.<\/span><\/h4>\n

A key focus of the meeting was the ongoing digital transformation initiative, which aims to integrate advanced automation systems across all college departments. This includes compliance with university-wide platforms related to Human Resource Management (HR), Student Information Systems, and digital applications such as Nadwaty and Ankido.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Prof. Dr. Fatima also announced the launch of a new Professional Higher Diploma program and the inauguration of an Entrepreneurship Incubation Hall. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration with governmental ministries to attract external funding for research projects supported by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. Furthermore, she revealed plans to host an international scientific conference, Gardens of Knowledge Sciences, scheduled for April 2026.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The meeting concluded with an open forum, allowing faculty members to present proposals and insights\u2014particularly those related to developing and maintaining sports facilities. The Dean expressed her appreciation for the faculty\u2019s efforts and extended her best wishes for a successful academic year filled with scholarly accomplishments that serve the community, respond to labor market demands, and advance scientific research.<\/span><\/h4>\n
