Miss Riam Abdul Kareem Abd, Head of the IT Unit and trainer in the Riyada Initiative at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women \/ University of Baghdad, took a four-day specialized training course for Riyada Initiative trainers. The Baghdad Makers Center organized the course with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence\u2014Office of the Prime Minister.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This course is part of a series of developmental programs aimed at enhancing the skills of certified trainers in the Riyada Initiative. The initiative focuses on empowering young entrepreneurs with start-up projects, providing them with technical and professional support, and strengthening their ability to develop and sustain their projects in a productive entrepreneurial environment.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The training saw broad participation from initiative trainers across various Iraqi universities and youth forums under the Ministry of Youth. Its main topics included an introduction to entrepreneurship and generating entrepreneurial ideas, presentation skills, market research, launching entrepreneurial projects, grant management, and applying for support.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Miss Riam emphasized that participating in this course was a valuable addition to her professional career. It offered advanced training content and an opportunity to network and exchange expertise with trainers from various fields. This positively impacted the quality of training programs for young entrepreneurs under the initiative.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This participation reflects the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women\u2019s commitment to actively contributing to national initiatives to empower young entrepreneurs and build a knowledge-based economy founded on innovation and sustainable projects, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.<\/span><\/h4>\n
