The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women\u2014University of Baghdad hosted the launch of the first training courses within the \u201cRiyada\u201d Initiative, supervised by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. The event took place at the college\u2019s accredited center, and a number of startup owners and registered members of the initiative participated.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, attended the opening alongside the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naima Zaidan.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Fatima highlighted the initiative’s significance in supporting the national economy by empowering startup owners and equipping them with the essential skills needed to manage and develop their projects. She also praised the college\u2019s role in adopting and supporting such qualitative national programs.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The course was delivered by the certified trainer of the \u201cRiyada\u201d Initiative, Ms. Riam Abdul Kareem Abd, who introduced fundamental topics in entrepreneurship, feasibility study preparation, and mechanisms for developing startup projects according to the standards approved by the Council of Ministers. She also outlined the upcoming stages, which include qualification and financial support.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This training course represents the beginning of a series of programs to be implemented by the accredited center at the college, in alignment with the Iraqi government\u2019s efforts to foster entrepreneurship and excellence, and to create a dynamic economic environment based on innovation and sustainable projects.<\/span><\/h4>\n
