The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women \u2013 University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr Fatima Abd Malih, and the supervision of the Division Head, Asst. Prof. Dr Sura Ahmed Al-Nuaimi organised a workshop for the college faculty members entitled (Instructions for Evaluating Faculty Teachers’ Performance for the Academic Year 2024\/2025)<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop clarified the essential instructions the Ministry and the University issued regarding the new amendments to this year\u2019s evaluation forms. A detailed explanation of the evaluation components was provided, including allocating 20 marks for each course taught at the undergraduate, master\u2019s, or doctoral level. In addition, a new axis related to the functional commitment of administrative faculty members was introduced.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop also covered the marks distribution for scientific research published in international databases and Arab and local journals. Further, it addressed evaluation instructions regarding faculty participation in courses, workshops, and seminars within the Scientific Affairs, Rehabilitation, and Continuing Education Units. Extra credit was also highlighted for faculty members holding the Academic Union ID.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dr Al-Nuaimi stressed the importance of submitting the required files within 10 days, in both hard and electronic copies, while granting two weeks for appeals after the announcement of results.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is worth noting that this workshop contributes to achieving one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
