A group of units from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad \u2014 including the Scientific Affairs Unit, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, the Scouting Activity Unit, and the Cultural Activity Unit \u2014 in cooperation with the (Anqiaa Team for the Preservation of Antiquities and Heritage), organized a scientific field trip for fourth-stage students to the Museum of Radio and Television, as well as several historic houses that once belonged to former Iraqi ministers: Tawfiq Al-Suwaidi, Maki Hussein Bahiyya, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zahir, and Abdul Hadi Al-Zahir.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The trip aimed to familiarize students with the history of Iraqi radio and television and to explore the exhibits and media-technical displays within the museum. The students also visited historic houses representing vivid examples of traditional Baghdadi architecture, learning about the efforts to restore, preserve, and culturally utilize these landmarks.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The students expressed their admiration for the museum\u2019s rich content and the historical information they gained during the visit, emphasizing the importance of such scientific activities in strengthening national identity and connecting academic learning with real-world experience.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This event comes as part of a series of scientific and cultural activities that the college continuously organizes to enhance students\u2019 skills and promote their cultural and historical awareness.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This initiative also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n
