The Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop titled )Research Skills: Problems and Solutions, presented by Prof. Dr. Intisar Kazem and Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazem.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The workshop aimed to clarify the essential skills of scientific research and the challenges researchers face when choosing a research topic. The presenters emphasized that research skills are not merely a set of fixed steps or formal procedures to memorize and apply, but rather an intellectual and methodological ability that enables researchers to move from a simple idea to a well-founded and valuable study. Possessing these skills enables the researcher to become more efficient and precise in decision-making, resulting in more reliable outcomes.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The speakers also discussed the most important research skills every researcher should master, including: Choosing an appropriate title, formulating the research problem, writing objectives and hypotheses, collecting sources and references, selecting the research method and measurement tools, analyzing and interpreting results, practicing academic writing, and proper citation.<\/span><\/h4>\n

In conclusion, they highlighted that scientific research is not a complicated task or an academic burden, but rather a way of thinking and a systematic approach to building knowledge. Through research, scholars develop their scientific identity and learn how to ask questions, find answers, and reach the truth through evidence.<\/span><\/h4>\n

They also noted that the difference between an excellent researcher and an ordinary one lies in the level of research skills they possess, how they think, how they choose their topics, how they seek information from reliable sources, and how they write in their own style to produce a study that makes a meaningful impact in their field.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This workshop supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 \u2013 Quality Education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
