The head of the Team Games Branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Nihad Muhammad Alwan, held a scientific symposium for postgraduate students entitled (What are communication skills in the sports side and how can they be developed).<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dr. Nihad clarified the concept of communication as an understanding between two specific parties, such as two systems, two entities, or two persons, with one party sending at a specific time and the other party receiving at another time, indicating at the same time the concept of communication as a process of transferring specific information and data that is sent from the sender to another person is the receiver, and among the elements of the communication process are the sender, the message, the means, the recipient, and the feedback.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The head of the team games branch also referred to the most famous communication skills represented by effective listening skills, clarity and choosing the appropriate tone of voice, self-confidence, empathy, respect, understanding body language, eyes, accepting points of view and avoiding criticizing others.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dr. Nihad mentioned the types of communication in the classroom, including: one-way communication, two-way communication, and multi-directional communication.<\/span><\/h4>\n
