As part of the Guidance Week activities, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women \u2013 University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and the supervision of the Unit\u2019s Head, Lect. Dr. Hind Salem Taih organized an awareness activity titled (A Message to Myself). The initiative aimed to enhance students\u2019 mental well-being and encourage them to express their emotions and inner needs in a safe and positive environment.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The activity attracted broad student participation, with students invited to write personal messages addressed to themselves. These messages included words of support and appreciation, reminders about the importance of self-care, and reflections on the challenges they face and ways to cope.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Organizers emphasized that this initiative seeks to promote a culture of emotional expression, combat psychological stress, and strengthen self-awareness skills. They noted that writing is considered one of the effective methods for improving mental health and reducing tension.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The activity also included short dialogue sessions delivered by specialists, focusing on the importance of maintaining a positive self-image, sustaining emotional balance, and raising awareness about how to seek support when needed.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The event received positive feedback from participants, who expressed gratitude for providing a safe space to share their feelings. They confirmed that the initiative helped them feel more at ease and more connected with themselves.<\/span><\/h4>\n
