The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malik, hosted a delegation from the Third Rusafa Education Directorate to conduct a specialized refresher training course aimed at introducing the mechanism for completing the Initial Physical Fitness Tests Form for Students used in selecting Olympic champions. The course was organized in cooperation with the Iraqi Olympic Committee as part of a joint program between educational and sports institutions, aimed at enhancing technical and administrative skills for identifying sports talent.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The course commenced with a welcoming speech from Mr. Najm Aboud, Director of School Sports Education. The course, attended by several teachers, educational supervisors, and physical education instructors, included a detailed explanation of procedures for completing the Olympic Champion Form, the approved criteria for evaluating students\u2019 physical and motor abilities, and methods for recording and managing data on promising talents.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The course also featured extensive discussions on the importance of early investment in school-based sports talent and on ways to support outstanding students to enable them to reach high levels of athletic achievement.<\/span><\/h4>\n

At the conclusion of the course, representatives of the Third Rusafa Education Directorate expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the college administration for the warm hospitality and for providing an appropriate environment that contributed to the success of this event, affirming the continuation of cooperation in future training programs.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This course contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).<\/span><\/h4>\n
