A doctoral dissertation titled (The Effect of the Specialized F.S.T-7 Method on Select Antioxidants, Free Radicals, Bio-motor Abilities, and Skill Performance Among Elite Badminton Players), by the researcher (Aya Nasser Mohsen Rashed), was defended at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The defense committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Wahab Ali from the University of Al-Qadisiyah as Chair, Prof. Dr. Abeer Dakhil Hatem as Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ali Jihad Ramadan as Member, Prof. Dr. Ghosoon Natiq Abdul-Hamid as Member, Prof. Dr. Warda Ali Abbas as Member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Makki Mahdi as Member.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study aimed to prepare training using the specialized (F.S.T-7) method for elite badminton players, to identify the effect of training with the specialized (F.S.T-7) method on select antioxidants and free radicals among elite badminton players, and to identify the effect of training with the specialized (F.S.T-7) method on select bio-motor abilities among elite badminton players.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The study concluded the suitability of preparing and applying training with the specialized (F.S.T-7) method for elite badminton players and maintaining antioxidant concentrations by reducing oxidative stress and recycling Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and increasing their availability within healthy limits in the blood, developing explosive power and speed-strength for the muscles of the arms and legs, improving motor coordination between the arms and legs, and between the eyes and arms, and dynamic balance, improving the smash skill, the long (far) serve skill, the forehand clear skill, and the backhand clear skill among elite badminton players.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The researcher recommended that it is necessary that the training load when using different resistances with training in the (F.S.T-7) method should not be exaggerated, paying attention to periodic laboratory measurement of antioxidants and free radicals after the end of each training period to avoid what harms the safety of biochemical processes for bioenergy production, and maintaining the health of players from the worsening risks of free radicals, paying attention to the principle of diversification in training situations for exercises and their multiplicity, and the principle of muscular exchange when applying training in the (F.S.T-7) method, taking into account individual differences and specificity.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This study achieves the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals represented by quality education.<\/span><\/h4>\n
