Duties of the Contemporary Sport Journal Unit
Administrative and Organizational

Prepare the annual plan and define themes for each issue.

Organize editorial board meetings and oversee workflow and editorial decisions.

Assign roles (editor-in-chief, editors, designers, correspondents, reviewers).

Coordinate with relevant academic and administrative departments.

Maintain and update the journal archive (print and electronic).

Receive, review, and peer-review submissions in accordance with academic standards.

Conduct linguistic and methodological editing prior to publication.

Ensure content originality and prevent academic misconduct.

Supervise layout and design to ensure quality of content and presentation.

- The research paper must not exceed 12 pages.
- The paper should be written in Times New Roman font, with a font size of 14.

- Study Abstract, Keywords.
- Introduction, which should include the following: Problem, Significance, Objectives, Hypotheses, Fields.
- Methodology and Procedures, which should include the following:( Research Methodology, Tools, Equipment, Tests, Training or Practical Program, Scale, Pre- and Post-Tests, Statistical Program).
- Results (Tables and Data).
- Discussions.
- Conclusions.
- Researcher Declaration (Conflict of Interest, Ethical Publishing Declaration, Collaborating Team, Facilitating Entity).
- References should be written according to the APA style.
- After uploading the research, a peer review fee of 20,000 Iraqi Dinars must be paid. Once electronic approval for publication is obtained, a publication fee of 225,000 Iraqi Dinars must be paid. Please note that the journal is non-profit, and the above expenses are solely to cover peer review, publication, and translation costs.

5- Revealing abuses and breaches in the ethics of scientific research.
How to obtain committee approval to conduct research:
1- Applications must be submitted before initiating the research; otherwise, the request will be rejected.
2- Fill out the research form electronically and send it via e-mail: [email protected]
3- The applications are presented to the committee and discussed during the periodic meeting.
4- The committee issues its decision, whether it is for modification, rejection, or acceptance, within one week of submitting the application.
5- After obtaining the written approval, the researcher shall submit a hard copy of the form, consent form, or any relevant documents (questionnaires, additional information) included in the research.
6- The researcher is granted a signed and stamped written approval.
