Admission rules and conditions for the academic year (2022-2023) For the undergraduate study (morning study)

Direct admission controls and conditions:

 General conditions for submission

1- Iraqi nationality

 2- The student must be born in 1998 or later.

3- Holds an Iraqi preparatory school certificate, supported by certification from the General Directorate of Education in the governorate or an equivalent certificate.

4- Successfully passed the medical examination according to the special conditions of each study.

5- Full-time for study, and it is not permissible to combine work and study (at the same time) in colleges and morning institutes, and this includes employees of all government institutions, and their continuation of study is required to obtain a study leave from their departments starting according to the instructions in force, and it is not permissible to combine two studies either, and in the event that it is proven Otherwise, he writes to the Ministry to cancel his admission.

6- Application is allowed for graduates of preparatory studies for the branches (biological, applied, literary, arts) for the current academic year 2021/2022 and the competition who did not have a central statement according to the regulations listed for each major, provided that they do not enroll in one of (evening studies, eligibility, private public morning education is one of the colleges affiliated to both times.

7- It is allowed to apply for graduates of preparatory studies for branches (vocational, arts majors, and Islamic) for the current academic year 2021/2022 and the previous ones (providing that they are deferred or approved, endorsed by the college / institute, in which the phrase (for the purposes of applying for the test for admission to the direct admission channel) is proven. )) And for each specialization, as indicated in the items below, there is a condition that they do not enroll in (evening, eligibility, and those accepted within the morning private government education channel).

8- Centrally admitted students for the academic year 2021/2022 from graduates of the branches (biological, applied, and literary) are allowed to apply for admission within the direct admission channels according to the controls listed for each major for unregistered, failing, and deferred students, after submitting proof that they are deferred or failing with the approval of the college proving in it, The phrase (for the purposes of applying for the test for admission to the direct admission channel) and they are not entitled to apply to amend the candidacy or return to their previous admission in the event that they were accepted on the condition that they did not enroll in a study (study, eligibility, and those accepted within the morning private public education channel)

9- Students from the (top 10%) of the current year graduates of fine arts institutes and institutes of crafts and folk arts are not entitled to apply for this channel.

10- All students applying for the test conducted by the colleges, to compete for admission, and the competitive average is calculated on the basis of (55%) for the student’s average in preparatory studies and (45%) for the test score.

11- The period of submission and examinations is one month, and successful and unsuccessful students within the categories referred to in paragraphs (6 and 7) above are entitled to apply for admission.

12- Students are informed when applying clearly and explicitly (that the student accepted within the direct admission channel, his name is withheld from the central admission).

13- The student is not entitled to apply to more than one direct admission body, nor is he entitled to request withdrawal and cancellation of his admission after announcing the admission results.

14- It is required that the advanced student succeed in the test conducted by the colleges for the purpose of nominating him for admission.

 15- The college/university is committed to announcing the test results on the bulletin board a week after the end of the period specified in Paragraph (11) above.

16- The results are sent electronically to students who have passed the test only through the electronic window designated for this purpose by the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, no later than two weeks after the end of the period specified in Paragraph (11) above.

 17- The results of the test shall be sent as a whole number, with the fraction of the number to be compensated for the benefit of the student.

 18- The minimum limits and average for submission to the preparatory degree for the families of the martyrs are reduced according to the conditions mentioned in Paragraph (AB) of Item (A-3) of Chapter One during the submission for the test and competition during the direct admission periods.

 19- After showing the admission results, the names of those accepted are withheld from the central admission.

 20- The process of showing the acceptance of students within the direct admission forces in the Central Admission Department is based on the test results sent by the colleges and the students’ averages according to the percentages specified for calculating the competitive rate, and they are not started until after the admission lists are issued by the Ministry.

 21- The lists of students who passed the test and whose data were sent in accordance with Paragraph (16) above and approved by the dean of the concerned college or whomever he authorizes according to the form prepared for this purpose in the electronic window.

 22- Admission of students from the families of martyrs is according to the channel for colleges that adopt direct admission.

 23- The same conditions and controls mentioned in Chapter Four, item (D.12) shall be approved for students applying for admission to direct admission colleges within the morning private public education channel.

Colleges covered by direct admission

 1-2 Admission to the faculties of physical education and sports sciences and the departments of physical education and sports sciences:

 1- Graduates of the two branches (biological, applied, and literary branches) are entitled to apply for admission with a ratio of 85% of the admission plan, provided that the male rate is not less than (60%) and the female rate is not less than (57%).

2- Graduates of vocational studies (all branches and specializations) are entitled to apply for admission, provided that their averages are not less than (60%) and 5% of the admission plan.

3- The admission of heroic students among the candidates of the Olympic Committee from graduates of the branches (biological, applied, literary, arts) and vocational (in all its branches and specializations) is an exception to the condition of the rate and at a rate of 10% of the admission plan, distributed at the rate of 5% for graduates of the two branches (biological and applied) and the branch Literary and arts, and 5% for vocational study graduates, with the possibility of rotating percentages in the event that the numbers of applicants are insufficient, and the competitive average is calculated for them by considering (50%) of the student’s average in preparatory studies and (5%) of the competitive test score, and on the Iraqi National Olympic Committee Providing the college with official books with all the priorities that prove that students meet one of the conditions below, in addition to providing the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, the Central Admissions Department with copies of them.

Conditions to be met:

  1. Players participating in an Olympic event.

  2. Players who won first to sixth place in one of the international tournaments accredited by the International Federation of the game.

  3. Players who won first to sixth place in one of the Asian championships accredited by the Asian Football Confederation.

  4. Players who won first to third place in one of the Arab championships accredited by the Arab Federation for the game.

  5. Players who won the first, second or third place in an Iraqi championship at the level of Iraq or the Republic championship that is held under the supervision of the concerned Central Federation for individual games for the last two seasons.

  6. The players whose teams got the first, second, or third place in the general league championship or the republican championship that is held under the supervision of the concerned central federation for team games for the last two seasons.

  7. The players who won first place in the school tournaments at the level of Iraq, supported by a letter from the directorates of education in Baghdad and the provinces, and attested by the Ministry of Education.

  8. Female players participating in the tournaments referred to in paragraphs [“a”, “b”, “c”, “d”, “e”, “f”, “g”] above.:

1- The college university is responsible for checking the validity of the issuance of the above-mentioned books from the relevant authority directly without referring to the ministry.

2- The possibility of rotating between the two sexes (male, female) to accept the largest possible number of students according to the plan’s seats, among the categories mentioned in paragraphs (1, 2), in addition to the category of champions from the Olympic Committee candidates mentioned in paragraph (3).

Controls and conditions for preliminary studies

1- Channels for scholarships to non-Iraqi students for undergraduate study only:

A- The channel of scholarships according to programs, agreements, and cooperation protocols with Arab and foreign countries.

B- The channel of scholarships granted to the Union of Arab Universities.

C- The scholarship channel for Arab and foreign students residing in Iraq.

D- The channel of scholarships for non-resident Arab and foreign students in Iraq.

2- The required major is Physical Education and Sports Science.

3- The age of the female student applying for the scholarship (undergraduate studies) should not exceed 30 years.

4- The grade point average (GPA) of the applying female student should be 60% or above.

5- The female student presents her accredited documents, authenticated by the relevant authorities in her country and from the Iraqi embassy or cultural attaché in that country.
