The official of the Follow-up Division in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Intithar Juma’a Mubarak, in cooperation and coordination with the Al-Rubaie Cultural Forum, organized a cultural symposium entitled (Baghdad Cultural Councils). The axes of the symposium were delivered by the Dean of the Forum, Mr. Sadiq Jassim Al-Rubaie, and a member of the Administrative Board of the Councils, Mr. Sami Hayal Abdel-Rida.
The symposium was opened by playing the anthem of the councils, their history and importance, and the role of writers and poets in supporting these councils with their works and artistic touches.
He also urged the youth segment to join such councils because of their importance in developing the cultural, artistic, literary and poetic sense of this generation, which increases their culture of access to other arts and not focus on one specialization, especially as we live in a society that requires the individual to possess diverse talents.
