College Council

The Council of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad is the highest academic authority responsible for managing and organizing the college’s affairs. The council is chaired by the Dean of the college and includes department heads and representatives of the teaching staff.

The council aims to achieve the college’s academic and educational goals. Its members are responsible for setting general policies and overseeing the implementation of academic plans. They strive to promote scientific research and advance the professional skills of faculty members. During meetings, the council discusses strategic plans, as well as academic and administrative issues, focusing on developing and updating curricula to align with the latest advancements in physical education and sports sciences.

Council decisions are made collaboratively and are binding. This approach reinforces the college’s academic and athletic quality and contributes to creating an optimal learning environment for students.
