The members of the committee explained the concept of the game of basketball, which is a game played between two (2) teams, each consisting of (5) five players, and the purpose of each of them is to score in the opponent’s basket and prevent the other team from scoring, as the match is controlled by the referees, table referees and a delegate International, if he is present, and his floor is flat with a solid surface free of obstacles, its dimensions are (28) meters in length and (15) meters in width, measured from the inner edge of the boundary line, and its back area is located at the finish line behind the team’s basket, the side lines and the center line, and it consists The team’s front area of the competitors’ basket, that is the part of the inner border of the backboard and that part of the playing field that is defined by the end line behind the opponents’ basket, the side lines and the inner edge of the center line (the middle) close to the opponents’ basket, and all its lines are of the same color and painted in white or other colors of contrasting colours, 5 cm wide and clearly visible.
Its lines were distinguished by several types of the border line, the center line, the central circle, the semicircles of the free throw circle, the free throw lines, the forbidden areas, places to follow up rebounds, the point field goal 3-ara, the two team seat areas, the entry throw error, the no-fault semicircle. offensive.
