The teacher in the team games branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Sondos Musa Jawad, organized an electronic scientific lecture in cooperation and coordination with Dr. Nasser Salem Al-Amiri from the Arab Emirates, entitled (Turn on the Lazy Dynamite).
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Nasser, explaining the concept of laziness from a religious point of view, according to the words of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (whoever remains lazy will be disappointed), dividing laziness into three types, which are mental laziness, psychological laziness, and physical laziness, explaining how to implement engineering plans in terms of self-evaluation Which includes personal traits and values, in addition to goal-setting plans, referring to the basic pillars of a balanced life, which are the spiritual, health, family, personal, social, professional and material pillars.
He also mentioned the personal characteristics of those with mental toughness represented by high self-esteem, commitment, self-discipline, strong desire for success, personal responsibility, high expectations for performance but realistic, motivational orientation, setting goals and striving to achieve them, lack of fear or control over failure.
Dr. Nasser concluded the lecture by stressing that laziness in all its forms, and no matter how many its causes and symptoms, its effects vary from one person to another, because it is an existing reality and a myth in our souls, pervasive in our lives, and has its negative effect on the size and type of our actions, achievements, performance of our obligations and achievement of our goals, and it should be dealt with as a lie. A reality that needs to be understood, and its resistance requires will and motivation, and setting goals helps us in that.
