The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, received a delegation from the Iraqi Amateur Football Federation. Mr. Hudaifa Hatem Khalef, the President of the Federation, led the delegation. Also, it included Mr. Safaa Qasim, the President of the Baghdad Russafa Federation, a member of the Development, Referees, and Coaches Committee, and Miss. Asal Hassan Sameer the Head of the Women’s Committee. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the possibility of holding the federation’s elections in the college’s halls, as well as agreeing to conduct international training and refereeing courses at the college’s venues.
For her part, the Dean of the College expressed her readiness to strengthen ties of cooperation with institutions involved in sports, whether they are ministries, federations, or unions, to host more courses and training workshops to develop the general sports landscape and specifically the women’s sector.
