The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of the doctoral thesis entitled (The effect of complex exercises with designed devices on developing some harmonic and physiological abilities and the performance of some offensive and defensive skills for handball players aged (15-17) years), by the student (Hanan Murad Marzouk).

The study aimed to design devices to develop some harmonic abilities among handball players aged 15-17 years, prepare complex exercises with devices designed to develop some harmonic and physiological abilities and perform some offensive and defensive skills among the 14 players of the Specialized Handball School, identify the effect of the complex exercises  equipped with devices designed for some harmonic and physiological abilities and the performance of some offensive and defensive skills in the two research groups. Identifying the individual differences between the control and experimental groups in the post-tests in some harmonic and physiological abilities and the performance of some offensive and defensive skills.

The study came out with a number of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which are that the devices designed, such as the optical defender device, the triple response device, the aiming accuracy development device, and the 6-cone positioning device, had a clear positive impact on training in coordination abilities, the ability to assess the situation, the ability to make the appropriate effort, the ability to respond quickly, the ability to adapt, the ability to connect movements, and the proven physical and skill-based compound exercises have a clear impact on developing offensive skills (handling and receiving, striking, scoring). The study recommended adopting the curriculum that was prepared in training handball players due to the effects of the compound exercises. (Physical-skills) from a clear development in harmonic abilities, adopting devices designed in training handball players and other team games for different age groups, paying attention to developing the components of harmonic abilities and describing them in the form of graduated exercises that suit the characteristics of the trainees, emphasizing diversity and change in the training process, breaking a barrier. Boredom among players and achieving the desired goal.

This study achieves the sustainable development goals of the third goal: good health and well-being, and the fourth goal: good education.
