The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hasib and Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Aseel Jalil, held a meeting with her teaching staff to discuss the most important educational, administrative, sports and examination matters, coinciding with Nearing the end of the first semester of the current year.

 Dr. Fatima emphasized to the teaching staff the necessity of paying attention to the educational process by updating the curricula by (10%), in addition to paying attention to the quality of lesson delivery, completing the quorum, and researching the scientific plan, by activating all links to download research and special scientific activities, including seminars, workshops, and training courses. There is also an emphasis on the completion of the administrative committees and the submission of grades for the first semester, along with samples of exam questions.

She also stressed that  teachers training sports teams must commit to training  students according to the specified schedule, three days a week.

The Dean of the College announced the holding of a special day of sporting activity for all sporting events, such as fitness, basketball, volleyball, football, and others. At the same time, she announced the holding of a conference under the title (Sports for Health and Sustainable Development) next February, hosting specialized Arab and foreign figures.

She also praised the work of some committees, such as scientific research, guidance, and students, wishing everyone success and providing service to our college and to our mother university.

This meeting achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
