The Motor Learning Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hasib, organized a knowledge debate in the specialty of motor learning between doctoral students with their counterpart students from the College of Physical Education and sports sciences at Al-Mustansiriya University. The aim of the debate is to reveal the students’ potential and scientific energies and increase their moral motivation, as well as changing the course of activities from lectures, seminars, courses and workshops in their specializations to a debate to reveal their information and knowledge in order to enhance their scientific potential with more experience and skills, whether in their academic or practical field.

The debate may include five rounds, each round of which (5) questions are asked to both parties, so that the team that answers the question correctly gets a point.

The debate ended with the students of our college winning with (23) points compared to (19) points for their counterpart Al-Mustansiriya.

In a related context, the debate also included a reconnaissance tour for students of Al-Mustansiriya University to all the corridors of the college, the first of which is our college museum, which displays the achievements of our teaching staff, in addition to the internal and external playgrounds.

At the conclusion of the debate, the Dean of the College distributed medals, books of thanks and appreciation, and certificates of participation to both parties, wishing everyone success and further progress and giving in service of the scientific process in Iraq.

This debate achieves one of the sustainable development goals: the fourth goal is quality education, the fifth is gender equality, and the seventeenth is establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.
