The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, attended the meeting of the Council of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, headed by its Dean, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and members of its Council.
The Dean of the College reviewed, to Mr. President of the University, the history of the College from its founding in 1996 until the present day, giving a comprehensive introduction to the structure of the buildings in terms of the study halls consisting of (12) study halls, in addition to two halls for postgraduate studies, one for the doctorate and one for the masters, in addition to providing (3) laboratories, two for computers and one for physiology, in addition to the creation of new classrooms for the subjects of methods and scouting, as well as a review of maintenance and rehabilitation work for the halls designated for sporting events for practical lessons such as fitness, gymnastics, and archery, as well as painting the internal and external walls, rebuilding private facilities for students, repairing roofs, and others.
It also demonstrated the mechanism of archiving all existing files for all divisions and units through the efforts of employees.
For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim, was briefed on the latest developments in the scientific aspect, including the rate of development in the scientific field in terms of developing outputs and the strategy that has been developed in the field of scientific research and institutional accreditation.
The President of the University, accompanied by the Dean of the College, also conducted an inspection tour of the halls for postgraduate students and computer and physiology laboratory students, receiving doctoral students, recommending that they think about the positive side in terms of their positive role in influencing society, while emphasizing keeping up with the latest scientific developments in the field of sports in a way that serves your specializations.
At the conclusion of his visit, the university president expressed his support for the colleges of education for girls, praising their efforts to advance the college, whether from a scientific, administrative or service perspective.
This meeting achieves the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education, and the sixteenth goal, peace, justice, and strong institutions.
