The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, was sponsored by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and under the supervision of its official, Prof. Dr. Naima Zaidan Khalaf, an awareness campaign under the slogan (Together to create an environment that rejects the phenomenon of harassment).
The campaign included organizing a protest denouncing all forms of harassment through awareness-raising posters bearing content that denounced harassment of all kinds because of its negative effects on society in general.
For her part, the Dean of the College stressed during the vigil to the students the necessity of preserving themselves and adhering to moral and social norms, decency, and reasonable behavior to avoid exposure to harassment.
It also directed the relevant authorities to develop a strategy to reduce the phenomena that have appeared recently due to their negative impact on society.
This stance achieves the sustainable development goals represented by the Sixteenth goal : Peace, justice and strong institutions
