The track and field athletics team at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, won the bronze medal in the 200m event, during their participation in the third annual track and field athletics conference held by Al-Hilla College, Al-Ahliyya University / Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, at Al-Kifel Stadium, It is worth noting that the team was trained by the two teachers in the individual games branch, Lect. Dr. Hind Salem and Asst. Lect. Hind Walid.

The Dean of Hilla University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, also honored the winning team with a shield for participating in the tournament, in addition to giving them a shield to the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh, in appreciation of her efforts in raising the level of sports in general and raising the reality of women’s sports in particular.

In a related context, the Dean of the College received the winning team, offering congratulations on the occasion of their victory in the Athletics Events Forum, wishing them success in their scientific and practical careers in order to advance women’s sports at all local, Arab and international levels.

This participation achieves three sustainable development goals: the third goal is good health and well-being, the fourth goal is quality education, and the seventeenth goal is establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.
