The two lecturers in the Individual Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazem and Asst. Lect. Huda Eidan, held a workshop for undergraduate students entitled (Degenerateness and abnormality and their negative effects on society).
They point out the danger of decadence and perversion because they are a decadent invasion par excellence that aims to create a broken, hesitant, deviant human being who seeks sexual pleasure and whose goal is money and the satisfaction of instinct. He does not have clear goals, principles, and constants, and he lacks the religious and social controls that govern his behavior and actions.
The two teachers also showed the connection between homosexuality and other terms, such as homosexuality.
They explained the most important internal factors contributing to the spread of the phenomenon, including the family’s failure to accept the child’s male identity compared to the female by growing his hair long and allowing him to play with girls’ toys, the absence of laws deterring such crimes against Islamic and Arab peoples, and the increased danger of homosexuality when legislation and laws are enacted for them.
They emphasized that one of the most important means of combating homosexuality is censoring the media, preventing and confronting these phenomena before they corrupt societies, continuing to reject and denounce homosexuality, and confronting them with all means and capabilities.
The workshop concluded by presenting a set of proposals, the most important of which are monitoring children’s real-life and electronic activities, clarifying the position of religions and virtues that reject homosexuality, developing children’s skills and using them for what benefits them and their community, and constant encouragement of young people through the positive work and activities they provide.
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
