The follow-up officer at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Lect. Rasha Walid, hosted a delegation from the Community Police of the Ministry of Interior to hold a workshop for undergraduate students entitled (Intellectual Extremism).
The Interior Ministry delegation stressed the necessity of instilling correct ideas among young people, and the family’s endeavor to come first in creating a conscious generation that rejects all kinds of alien ideas to society. The state is adopting policies that work to limit the spread of extremist ideas by setting limits on social media, which constitutes a basic and important source to spread tendentious ideas that have a negative impact on the ideas of society.
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education, and the seventeenth goal: establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.
