Huda Eidan Muhammad, a lecturer in the Individual Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, held a scientific symposium for undergraduate students entitled (Mood and Beyond Mood in the Sports Field).

She has shown the possibility of applying the concept of mood to everyone, as it always exists in a broad sense as an emotional background for an individual’s behavior as well. It is a representation of mild feelings that are often temporary that afflict the individual, such as joy, instability, or sadness, explaining what is behind mood, which is the individual’s continuous and relative tendency to contemplate his feelings and thoughts that it stands behind his mood.

The dimensions beyond mood assessment were also classified into clarity and ambiguity, Impacted and unaffected, acceptance and rejection, stereotyping and non-stereotyping, length and brevity, causality and randomness, strength and weakness, noting at the same time its areas as well, such as paying attention to feelings, clarity of feelings, and mood adjustment.

The teacher in the Individual Games Branch concluded her symposium, recommending the need to enhance interest in realizing the importance of what is behind mood because it is one of the positive aspects of the personality, as it increases the level of psychological health. Paying attention to conducting training courses prepared by specialized committees in the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education to train middle school and college students in order to correct negative moods and reduce negative moods. The harmful effect of stressful events.

This symposium achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
