The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled (The effect of practicing sports at different times for women and men), which was presented by the teacher in the team sports branch, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Muhammad Amin.
Dr. Nada explained the difference in exercise times for women and men, indicating that the best time for women is the morning period because it helps reduce belly fat and high blood pressure and reduces appetite, which helps protect you from excess weight, while the appropriate period for men is the evening period due to its benefit. For heart health, lowering high blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart disease, feeling tired and stressed, in addition to burning more fat.
It also showed the effect of exercising on controlling regulating hormones, such as walking, aerobics, or any other activity that adjusts the level of hormones in the body, which reduces the risk of exposure to diseases.
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
