The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, held a rehabilitation workshop entitled (Artificial Intelligence, a Wonderful Transformation in the World of Technology), which was presented by the head of the Information Technology Unit and the responsible website programmer, Reyam Abdel Karim.
She explained the concept of artificial intelligence as a branch of computer science that aims to develop systems capable of carrying out tasks that require human intelligence, explaining the contribution of its applications in several areas of our work, whether in our daily life represented by security and protection, digital assistance, improving productivity, medical diagnosis, as well as its contribution to the educational process. Through direct interaction, immediate assessment, personalized education, in addition to its role in the field of health care, which includes accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment, and continuous care, as well as its role in decision-making through analyzing complex data, predicting trends, rapid response, objectivity and impartiality, It also contributes to trade and business by improving experience, automating processes, and increasing productivity.
She also pointed to the most important applications of artificial intelligence that serve students and graduates, such as (Coursera, Mendeley, LinkedIn, Duolingo, Google Scholar, Grammarly).
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
