The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls has established a special committee for the ethics of scientific research. This committee is concerned with conducting scientific research, ensuring its protection, and safeguarding its rights.

Vision:
1- The scientific research should meet the needs of society.
2- Reviewing research conducted on both healthy individuals and individuals with disabilities to ensure their commitment to international ethical standards.
3- Striking a balance between the benefits of research and the risks it entails.
4- Keeping pace with scientific research, emphasizing the importance of staying updated, and focusing on renewal.
5- Ensuring complete confidentiality of the private information of the sample individuals.
Objectives:
1- The researcher’s commitment to ethical principles and avoidance of plagiarism.
2- Ensuring the credibility of the research content and obtaining accurate results.
3- Integrity and honesty in scientific research.
4- Protecting the sample participating in the research from any risks, with the researcher assuming responsibility for that.
5- Revealing abuses and breaches in the ethics of scientific research.
How to obtain committee approval to conduct research:
1- Applications must be submitted before initiating the research; otherwise, the request will be rejected.
2- Fill out the research form electronically and send it via e-mail: [email protected]
3- The applications are presented to the committee and discussed during the periodic meeting.
4- The committee issues its decision, whether it is for modification, rejection, or acceptance, within one week of submitting the application.
5- After obtaining the written approval, the researcher shall submit a hard copy of the form, consent form, or any relevant documents (questionnaires, additional information) included in the research.
6- The researcher is granted a signed and stamped written approval.
