A workshop entitled

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled (Recovery and its Means in Physical Preparation), presented by the lecturer in the Team Sports Branch, Prof. Dr. Suhad Qasim Al-Mousawi.

Dr. Al-Mousawi explained the concept of recovery in physical preparation is the recovery of the various actions that precede and follow the training process to give the body sufficient energy to cover the requirements of sports performance (such as physical, psychological, mental, technical, and tactical requirements, in an intelligent manner during training or competition, and its types include functional, psychological, mental, movement, and all of the mentioned types are considered related because they deal with an integrated human psyche, so the inclusion of any of them remains subject to the source and type of fatigue.

This scientific event is consistent with the fourth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which relates to ensuring the provision of high-quality education and equal learning opportunities for all.
