The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, supervised the doctoral thesis entitled (The role of organizational adaptation as a mediating variable to measure the relationship between career path and work pressures among physical education supervisors in Iraq) by the researcher (Sahar Salman Hassan).

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Sundus Musa Jawad as Chairman and prof. Dr. Muhammad Fadel Musleh from the University of Diyala as a member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suhair Miteb Manaf from the University of Baghdad as a member,  Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qusay Muhammad Jamil from the University of Baghdad as a member and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saba Qais Ghadban from the Department of Human Resources at  the presidency of the University of Baghdad as a member.

The study aimed to prepare measures for organizational adaptation, career path, and job stress for physical education supervisors in specialized supervision departments, identifying the relationship between career path management, job stress, and the availability of organizational adaptation among physical education supervisors in the General Directorates of Education in Baghdad, who number (140) Supervisor, identifying the role of organizational adaptation as a mediating variable in the relationship between career path and work stress among physical education supervisors in Baghdad.

The results of the study also found that workers in the supervisory body have the ability to adapt to organizational and career paths and control work pressures, and field research data prove that organizational adaptation affects as a variable that mediates the relationship between the independent variable (career path) and the dependent variable (work pressures) through partial mediation. Recommending taking advantage of the standards that have been prepared in the process of evaluating and selecting the specialty supervisor, improving the physical and moral work environment through the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to reduce the effort and expenses in completing work for the specialty supervisors, setting real standards based on studies and research carried out in the field of administration for nomination to supervise and pay attention to quality and efficiency, not quantity, to carry out the duties assigned to them.

This discussion achieves one of the goals of sustainable development, represented by the fourth goal, quality education.
