A doctoral thesis entitled (The effect of the (team, double, single) strategy using the technological lighting board technique on cognitive organization and the performance of some volleyball skills for female students) by the researcher (Donia Ali Abdel Hussein) was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad.
The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Saddam Muhammad Farid from the University of Babylon as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Naglaa Abbas Nassif as a supervisor, Prof. Dr. Suhad Qasim Saeed, Prof. Dr. Nihad Muhammad Alwan, Prof. Dr. Hoda Abdel Samie, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Naima Zidan Khalaf as members.
The study aimed to design and manufacture the specialized technological lighting board technology and prepare its content for teaching the performance of volleyball skills to female students, prepare educational units for the strategy (team, double, single) using the technological lighting board technology in practical lessons for the students in the second stage in the Department of Physical Education at Al-Farahidi Private University, building a measure of cognitive organization in volleyball, identifying the effect of the strategy above, with and without the technological lighting panel technology, on cognitive organization and the performance of some volleyball skills for female students.
The study concluded that combining this strategy with the technological lighting board technique and applying them in a physical education lesson has achieved a positive effect in improving the mental and skill factors, in addition to helping them improve the performance of the serve skill from below, and in improving the performance of the forward count skill from above the head, and in improving the performance of the skill of receiving volleyball with the lower hands among female students.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the design of the technological lighting board technique and its use by the conditions of clarity of presentation in the physical education lesson for volleyball and to pay attention to empowering physical education teachers and raising their capabilities in using the technological lighting board technique by integrating it with strategies for teaching skill performance in volleyball and including this in continuing education courses. It is necessary to circulate the study results to the female students of the second stage in the Department of Physical Education when seeking to teach the skill performance of some volleyball skills.
This discussion achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education.
