The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, accompanied by members of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, received the Director of the Ahl al-Iraq Foundation for Productive and Community Development, Dr. Ayat Karim Hamid al-Maliki, and her assistant, Dr. Ayat Ali al-Rubaie.
The Dean of the College expressed, during her reception of the delegation of the Ahl al-Iraq Foundation, her readiness to open horizons of cooperation in order to provide in-kind support to students, such as official and sports uniforms. At the same time, she explained the pioneering role of the college in providing all moral and humanitarian support through holding weekly breakfast banquets and clothing campaigns and distributing them periodically, in addition to containing some needy students in order to complete their studies.
For her part, Dr. Al-Maliki expressed her gratitude for providing assistance to students and contributing to all future activities held at the college, in addition to announcing the provision of treatment for those with chronic diseases, not only for students but also for their families, as well as announcing the provision of job opportunities for graduates according to the required fields. At the same time, she praised the efforts made by all those working on these charitable volunteer campaigns that serve students and ease the burden on their families. In conclusion, both sides expressed their thanks for opening up horizons of cooperation and humanitarian support for students, wishing for more work and success in serving our students in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development represented by the first, tenth and seventeenth goals of eradicating poverty, reducing inequality and forming partnerships to achieve the goals.
